Established in 1981 in Columbia, SC, the purpose of The South Carolina Debutante Ball is to plan and provide an annual debutante ball for eligible daughters, members and guests.

Through time-honored traditions of social etiquette and planned events, culminating with a ball usually held the Thursday evening before Christmas, the South Carolina Debutante Ball celebrates a transitional time in the life of members’ daughters and sons.
